Texas High School Basketball - Aransas Pass trounces Taft
January 17, 2023: Taft, TX 78390 The Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) basketball crushed the host Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), 90-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Pirates go into the 3A Region IV District 29 test with a 11-15 record. In their last test, Mathis walloped George West (George West, TX), 51-48, in a league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Goliad for a 3A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, January 20. Taft will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 45-40 league loss to Odem (Odem, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
