January 17, 2023: Hazlehurst, GA 31539 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), by a count of 72-66.
The Yellowjackets (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Panthers go into the AA Region 1 outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Sumter County held off Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 74-40, in a league outing.
