Georgia High School Basketball - Berrien nips Atkinson County
December 3, 2022: Pearson, GA 31642 Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 53-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Berrien upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to Brooks County (Quitman, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Brooks County won 56-49 in their recent non-league bout against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA)
Next up, the Rebels play the Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) in a A D2 Region 2 bout, on Friday, December 9. Atkinson County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
