Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 81-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Clinch County upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Turner County (Ashburn, GA) to play the Titans in a A D2 Region 2 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Turner County won 71-49 in their recent league bout against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) in a A D2 Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Atkinson County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 21-2 record after their 85-47 non-league win over Brantley County (Nahunta, GA).
