January 17, 2023: Faribault, MN 55021 The Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) basketball felled the host Bethlehem Academy Cardinals (Faribault, MN), 60-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Maple River thwarted Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN), 86-20, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Medford for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Bethlehem Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 71-63 non-league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
