Michigan High School Basketball - North Branch fells Birch Run
January 17, 2023: North Branch, MI 48461 North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), 54-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Branch upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Broncos host Imlay City (Imlay City, MI) to play the Spartans in a Blue Water Area bout on Thursday, January 19. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Imlay City lost 55-33 in their recent league bout against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Friday, January 20. Birch Run will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Dukes go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 68-38 non-league loss to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI).
