Michigan High School Basketball - Millington nips Birch Run
January 3, 2023: Birch Run, MI 48415 Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), 59-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Millington upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Bullock Creek (Midland, MI) to play the Lancers in a Tri-Valley - West bout on Friday, January 6. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Bullock Creek lost 42-41 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Sanford, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Bridgeport Bearcats (Bridgeport, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Friday, January 6. Birch Run will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 74-51 non-league win over Everett (Lansing, MI).
