Mississippi High School Basketball - Coldwater knocked off by Blue Mountain
January 17, 2023: Coldwater, MS 38618 The Blue Mountain Cougars basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Coldwater Cougars to 58 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory Flat for a 1A Region 3 contest on Thursday, January 19. Blue Mountain will meet a Rebels team coming off a 48-46 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 9-16.
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Byers (Holly Springs, MS). The Lions enter the 1A Region 3 contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Byers ran past Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS), 70-56, in a non-league contest.
