The Boonton Bombers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats to 47 in the Bombers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bombers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morristown-Beard for a Freelance contest on Thursday, January 19. Boonton will battle a Crimson team coming off a 61-39 league loss to Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ). The Crimson record now stands at 3-9.

The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Hanover Park was defeated by Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 48-32, in a non-league contest.
