South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun Falls Charter trounces Dixie
January 17, 2023: Due West, SC 29639 The Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes (Calhoun Falls, SC) basketball crushed the host Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC), 63-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Blue Flashes (11-2) will now prepare for their test against South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind (Spartanburg, SC). The Hornets go into the A Region 2 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was trounced by Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC), 61-21, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Whitmire for a A Region 2 test on Friday, January 20. Dixie will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 71-48 league loss to McCormick (McCormick, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-8.
