Center Place (Independence, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Overland Christian Eagle (Overland Park, KS), 66-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Center Place upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The host El Dorado Christian (El Dorado Springs, MO) to play the Buffalos in a Mo-Kan Christian bout on Thursday, January 19. The Buffalos go into the bout with a record of 2-8. El Dorado Christian lost 60-32 in their recent league bout against Heartland (Belton, MO)

Next up, the Eagle play the Our Savior Christian Academy Knights (Smithville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Overland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
