Ohio High School Basketball - Dixie thwarts Valley View
January 17, 2023: New Lebanon, OH 45345 The Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley View Spartans (Germantown, OH), 59-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Greyhounds (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH). The Panthers go into the Western Ohio outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Twin Valley South was beaten by Brookville (Brookville, OH), 51-30, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Brookville for a Southwestern Buckeye - West outing on Friday, January 20. Valley View will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 51-30 non-league win over Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-6.
