Ohio High School Basketball - Dixie holds off Eaton
January 3, 2023: New Lebanon, OH 45345 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) and the visiting Eaton Eagles (Eaton, OH), saw Dixie's basketball squad hold off Eaton by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Dixie improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Tri-Village (New Madison, OH) to confront the Patriots in a Western Ohio challenge on Friday, January 6. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Tri-Village lost 69-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Valley View Spartans (Germantown, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - West challenge, on Friday, January 6. Eaton will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 66-61 non-league loss to Milton-Union (West Milton, OH).
