Georgia High School Basketball - Gatewood overwhelms Peachtree Academy
January 17, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA) and the host Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA), saw Gatewood's basketball squad wallop Peachtree Academy by a tally of 84-50.
With the victory, Gatewood improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Young Americans Christian won 63-49 in their recent league challenge against Killian Hill Christian (Lilburn, GA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Hills Academy Knights (Conyers, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Peachtree Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 75-32 league win over The Grace Christian Academy (Powder Springs, GA).
