Maryland High School Basketball - Walkersville tops Governor Thomas Johnson
January 17, 2023: Walkersville, MD 21793 Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), 55-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Walkersville upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Williamsport (Williamsport, MD) to play the Wildcats in a CMC bout on Thursday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Williamsport lost 70-61 in their recent league bout against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD)
Next up, the Patriots play the North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD) in a CMC bout, on Thursday, January 26. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
