January 17, 2023: Spring Grove, MN 55974 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) and the visiting Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN), saw Spring Grove's basketball squad wallop Houston by a tally of 67-21.
With the victory, Spring Grove improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN) to play the Burros in a A Section 1 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Burros come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Lanesboro won 89-54 in their recent league challenge against Glenville-Emmons (Glenville, MN)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals (LeRoy, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Houston will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 72-50 league loss to Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN).
