Ohio High School Basketball - Jonathan Alder fells Northwestern
January 17, 2023: Springfield, OH 45502 Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH), 51-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jonathan Alder upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH) to play the Cougars in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail bout on Friday, January 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Kenton Ridge lost 75-61 in their recent non-league bout against North Union (Richwood, OH)
Next up, the Warriors play the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Mad River bout, on Friday, January 20. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Hillclimbers go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to London (London, OH).
