Ohio High School Basketball - North Union overwhelms Northwestern
February 3, 2023: Springfield, OH 45502 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) and the host Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH), saw North Union's basketball squad wallop Northwestern by a tally of 68-28.
With the victory, North Union improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Centerburg (Centerburg, OH) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Centerburg lost 48-39 in their recent league challenge against Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 76-56 league loss to Greeneview (Jamestown, OH).
