Washington High School Basketball - Tahoma nips Kentridge
January 17, 2023: Maple Valley, WA 98038 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) and the visiting Kentridge Chargers (Kent, WA), saw Tahoma's basketball squad hold off Kentridge by a tally of 75-68.
With the victory, Tahoma improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Kentwood (Covington, WA) to play the Conquerors in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound challenge on Friday, January 20. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Kentwood won 64-57 in their recent league challenge against Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA)
Next up, the Chargers play the Mt. Rainier Rams (Des Moines, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound challenge, on Friday, January 20. Kentridge will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 63-47 league win over Decatur (Federal Way, WA).
