Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), 52-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Old Forge upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA) to play the Bucks in a Lackawanna 3 bout on Friday, January 20. The Bucks come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Dunmore lost 58-27 in their recent league bout against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Friday, January 20. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 61-38 league win over Riverside (Taylor, PA).
