Iowa High School Basketball - Marquette knocked off by Lisbon
January 17, 2023: Bellevue, IA 52031 The Lisbon Lions basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Marquette Mohawks to 49 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calamus-Wheatland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24.
The Mohawks (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA). The Irish enter the Big East contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Prince of Peace Prep ran past Midland (Wyoming, IA), 79-56, in a non-league bout.
