The San Benito Greyhounds basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Los Fresnos Falcons to 50 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weslaco for a 6A Region IV District 32 contest on Friday, January 20. San Benito will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-39 league loss to Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-16.

The Falcons (20-7) will now prepare for their contest against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals enter the 6A Region IV District 32 contest with a 8-19 record. In their last contest, Harlingen was defeated by Rivera (Brownsville, TX), 61-56, in a league contest.
