January 17, 2023: Ridgefield, WA 98642 Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA), 61-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Mark Morris upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Monarchs host Columbia River (Vancouver, WA) to play the Rapids in a 2A Greater St. Helens bout on Thursday, January 19. The Rapids go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Columbia River won 65-45 in their recent league bout against Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA)
Next up, the Spudders play the Hockinson Hawks (Brush Prairie, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens bout, on Thursday, January 19. Ridgefield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 68-61 league loss to Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA).
