Alabama High School Basketball - Parker tipped by Minor
January 17, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35204 The Minor Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Parker Thundering Herd to 38 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homewood for a 6A Area 9 contest on Friday, January 20. Minor will meet a Patriots team coming off a 69-43 league win over Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 13-9.
The Thundering Herd (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, John Carroll Catholic was nudged by Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL), 67-49, in a league contest.
