Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) and the visiting Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), saw Norfolk Collegiate's basketball squad overcome Peninsula Catholic by a tally of 78-65.

With the victory, Norfolk Collegiate improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Mighty Oaks host Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Ambassadors in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Ambassadors come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Norfolk Christian lost 66-47 in their recent non-league challenge against TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA)

Next up, the Knights confront the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) in a VISAA Division I challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Peninsula Catholic will attempt to improve on its 17-5 season record. The Dolphins come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 92-89 league loss to Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA).
