The Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs to 57 in the Mighty Oaks league triumph on Saturday.

The Mighty Oaks now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steward for a Tidewater Independent contest on Tuesday, January 10. Norfolk Collegiate will meet a Spartans team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Seton (Manassas, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-4.

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA). The Trojans enter the VISAA Division III contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Walsingham Academy ran past Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA), 52-47, in a non-league contest.
