Minnesota High School Basketball - Stillwater nips Roseville
January 17, 2023: Roseville, MN 55113 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) and the host Roseville Raiders (Roseville, MN), saw Stillwater's basketball squad hold off Roseville by a tally of 59-57.
With the victory, Stillwater improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Ponies travel to Irondale (New Brighton, MN) to play the Knights in a AAAA Section 5 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Irondale lost 56-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Buffalo (Buffalo, MN)
Next up, the Raiders play the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Roseville will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 65-57 non-league win over Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN).
