January 17, 2023: Tarboro, NC 27886 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) and the visiting South Creek Cougars (Robersonville, NC), saw Tarboro's basketball squad knock off South Creek by a count of 73-55.
With the victory, Tarboro upgrades its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 9-5. North Edgecombe won 85-79 in their recent league test against Weldon (Weldon, NC)
The Cougars now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Riverside-Martin for a 1A Conference 2 test on Friday, January 20.
