Michigan High School Basketball - Ithaca tops Alma
January 17, 2023: Ithaca, MI 48847 Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), 59-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ithaca upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI) to play the Panthers in a Tri-Valley - West II bout on Friday, January 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-9. Nouvel Catholic Central lost 58-26 in their recent non-league bout against St. Louis (St. Louis, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Frankenmuth Eagles (Frankenmuth, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Friday, January 20. Alma will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 62-31 league win over Freeland (Freeland, MI).
