Michigan High School Basketball - Alma tops Shepherd
January 3, 2023: Shepherd, MI 48883 Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), 47-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Alma upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Glenn (Bay City, MI) to play the Bobcats in a Tri-Valley - East bout on Friday, January 6. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Glenn lost 39-36 in their recent non-league game against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI)
With the defeat, Shepherd moves to 3-4 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI) to face the Beavers in a Jack Pine game on Friday, January 6. The Beavers enter the game with a record of 3-5. Beaverton lost 60-36 in their recent non-league game against Evart (Evart, MI)
