Shadow Ridge Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV), 73-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Shadow Ridge moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Grizzlies in a 5A Southern game on Thursday, January 19. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 11-5. Spring Valley won 62-21 in their recent league game against Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV)

With the defeat, Bishop Gorman moves to 9-9 on the year. The Gaels host Foothill (Henderson, NV) to face the Falcons in a 5A Southern game on Thursday, January 19. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 4-11. Foothill lost 49-34 in their recent league game against Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV)
