Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ursuline Academy Bears (Dallas, TX), 55-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop Lynch upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Friars host Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout on Friday, January 20. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Prestonwood Christian lost 48-33 in their recent league bout against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Nolan Catholic Vikings (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Ursuline Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record.
