Alabama High School Basketball - LAMP holds off Booker T. Washington
January 17, 2023: Montgomery, AL 36111 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the LAMP Golden Tigers (Montgomery, AL) and the visiting Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles (Tuskegee, AL), saw LAMP's basketball squad hold off Booker T. Washington by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, LAMP improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Golden Tigers travel to Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL) to confront the Knights in a 4A Area 4 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Montgomery Catholic won 69-8 in their recent league challenge against Bullock County (Union Springs, AL)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL) in a 4A Area 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Booker T. Washington will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 69-8 league loss to Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL).
