Illinois High School Basketball - Bunker Hill falls to Southwestern
January 17, 2023: Bunker Hill, IL 62014 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Southwestern Piasa Birds basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Bunker Hill Minutemen.
In their next game, the Piasa Birds meet the Seymour Indians (Payson, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. Southwestern will attempt to move on its 2-16 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 59-25 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, IL).
With the defeat, Bunker Hill moves to 1-15 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Mt. Olive lost 64-25 in their recent non-league challenge against North Mac (Virden, IL)
