Michigan High School Basketball - Roosevelt holds off Carlson
January 17, 2023: Wyandotte, MI 48192 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) and the visiting Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI), saw Roosevelt's basketball squad hold off Carlson by a tally of 43-36.
With the victory, Roosevelt improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bears host Richard (Riverview, MI) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Richard lost 45-25 in their recent league challenge against St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI)
Next up, the Marauders confront the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Carlson will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 61-39 league win over Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI).
