With the victory, Perry County Central upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Commodores host Knott County Central (Hindman, KY) to play the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 10-4. Knott County Central lost 52-48 in their recent non-league test against Leslie County (Hyden, KY)
The Tigers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Laurel for a District 49 test on Friday, January 20. Clay County will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 55-48 league win over Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-4.
