California High School Basketball - Los Alamitos can't hold off Corona del Mar

The Corona del Mar Sea Kings basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Los Alamitos Griffins to 35 in the Sea Kings league victory on Tuesday.

The Sea Kings now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington Beach for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Corona del Mar will battle a Oilers team coming off a 42-40 league loss to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 8-15.

The Griffins (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Chargers go into the Wave bout with a 12-11 record. In their last bout, Edison held off Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA), 48-29, in a league bout.
