Texas High School Basketball - Kress holds off Happy
January 17, 2023: Kress, TX 79052 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX) and the visiting Happy Cowboys (Happy, TX), saw Kress's basketball squad hold off Happy by a tally of 34-33.
With the victory, Kress improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Kangaroos travel to Hart (Hart, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 1A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Hart lost 94-28 in their recent league challenge against Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX) in a 1A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Happy will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Swifts come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 85-5 league win over Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX).
