Louisiana High School Basketball - Lakeshore holds off St. Scholastica
January 17, 2023: Mandeville, LA 70448 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA) and the visiting St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA), saw Lakeshore's basketball squad hold off St. Scholastica by a tally of 49-45.
With the victory, Lakeshore improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The host Salmen (Slidell, LA) to confront the Spartans in a 4A District 8 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Salmen won 53-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Bolton (Alexandria, LA)
Next up, the Doves confront the Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. St. Scholastica will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 40-32 league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA).
