Nebraska High School Basketball - Milford holds off Lakeview
January 17, 2023: Columbus, NE 68601 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) and the host Lakeview Vikings (Columbus, NE), saw Milford's basketball squad hold off Lakeview by a tally of 30-27.
With the victory, Milford improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host David City (David City, NE) to confront the Scouts in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Scouts come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. David City won 43-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 52-22 non-league loss to Central City (Central City, NE).
