January 17, 2023: Eugene, OR 97401 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) and the visiting North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR), saw Marist's basketball squad overcome North Bend by a tally of 40-22.
With the victory, Marist improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Springfield (Springfield, OR) to confront the Millers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Millers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Springfield won 62-25 in their recent league challenge against Churchill (Eugene, OR)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) in a 4A Sky Em challenge, on Friday, January 20. North Bend will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 51-40 league loss to Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR).
