Florida High School Basketball - Melbourne Central Catholic ripped by Melbourne
January 17, 2023: Melbourne, FL 32901 The Melbourne Bulldogs basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers to 26 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merritt Island for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Melbourne will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to Merritt Island Christian (Merritt Island, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-14.
The Hustlers (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Odyssey Charter School (Palm Bay, FL). The Titans enter the 3A District 5 contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Odyssey Charter School was routed by St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL), 45-37, in a non-league contest.
