Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), 46-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cranston East upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Sentinels come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Eagles play the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Barrington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
