Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Classical Purples (Providence, RI), 52-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Barrington upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to play the Skippers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Skippers come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
