The Chase Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host R-S Central Hilltoppers to 40 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Polk County for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Chase will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-8.

The Hilltoppers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats come into the contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Hendersonville prevailed over Patton (Morganton, NC), 50-48, in a league contest.
