South Carolina High School Basketball - Palmetto nips Fountain Inn
January 17, 2023: Fountain Inn, SC 29644 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) and the host Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC), saw Palmetto's basketball squad hold off Fountain Inn by a tally of 41-34.
With the victory, Palmetto improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Powdersville (Greenville, SC) to play the Patriots in a challenge on Friday, January 20. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Powdersville won 40-33 in their recent league challenge against Wren (Piedmont, SC)
Next up, the Fury play the Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Fountain Inn will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
