Missouri High School Basketball - Benton crushes Mid-Buchanan
January 17, 2024: Faucett, MO 64448 Benton Cardinals (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO), 71-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Benton upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Cardinals host East Buchanan (Gower, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-3. East Buchanan lost 80-56 in their recent non-league bout against Maryville (Maryville, MO)
Next up, the Dragons clash with the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) in a KCI bout, on Friday, January 19. Mid-Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 67-45 league loss to Penney (Hamilton, MO).
