Missouri High School Basketball - Benton overwhelms Savannah
February 13, 2024: Savannah, MO 64485 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Benton Cardinals (St. Joseph, MO) and the host Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO), saw Benton's basketball squad wallop Savannah by a tally of 73-42.
With the victory, Benton improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO) to confront the Eagles in a Midland Empire challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 19-8. Bishop LeBlond lost 53-38 in their recent league challenge against St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO)
Next up, the Savages confront the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) in a Midland Empire challenge, on Friday, February 16. Savannah will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record. The Spoofhounds come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 89-46 non-league win over Creston (Creston, IA).
