The Valley Center Jaguars (Valley Center, CA) basketball nipped the host Fallbrook Warriors (Fallbrook, CA), 58-56 in Wednesday's league test.

The Jaguars (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA). The Sundevils go into the Valley test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Mt. Carmel got by Westview (San Diego, CA), 49-46, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Escondido for a Valley test on Friday, January 19. Fallbrook will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 58-52 league loss to San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-12.
