Georgia High School Basketball - Harrison knocked off by Hillgrove
January 17, 2024: Powder Springs, GA 30127 The Hillgrove Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Harrison Hoyas to 53 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marietta for a AAAAAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Hillgrove will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 49-46 league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-12.
The Hoyas (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils enter the AAAAAAA Region 3 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Marietta ran past North Paulding (Dallas, GA), 73-53, in a league contest.
